Care at the bedside

Patient Care

After a hospital stay, or during a long illness, the useful person in the room is often not another visitor. It is someone who knows the bed, the water, and the next hour.

Patient Care

Patient care at Sree Sai Home Care is bedside attendant support in the home, not a substitute for a doctor or a hospital. Families come to us when a parent, spouse, or relative is bedridden, weak after surgery, or too unwell to bathe, eat, and change position without help. The attendant stays with the person. The family keeps the medical decisions.

A calm room, kept that way

The practical list is simple and it matters. The bed is straightened. Water is within reach. The person is helped to sit up, turn, and reach the bathroom or a bedside commode with as much dignity as the body allows. Clothes and sheets are changed when they need to be. The face, hands, and mouth are freshened. Food is offered in the way the person can manage, whether that is a full meal or a few spoons at a time.

We pay attention to what the family already knows. Which side is painful. Which words mean yes. What time the physiotherapist comes, if one is visiting. The attendant does not replace that therapist and does not perform procedures, dressings that need a nurse, or injections. If you have a nurse for clinical work, our person can still cover the hours in between, which are usually the long ones.

Who asks for this

The call often comes from a son or daughter who has been awake for several nights, or from a spouse who can no longer lift. Homes across Hyderabad use us when a relative has just left Kamineni Hospital and the discharge summary is still on the table. Others have been managing a bedridden parent for months and need the load shared, not a lecture about it.

Tell us the person's condition in plain language, whether they can sit, stand, or need two people to move, and whether you want a woman or a man. Twelve-hour and twenty-four-hour patient attendants are both possible. If the need is today, say so on the first call. Reach A. Sailaja on 95333 09627 or A. Swamy Naidu on WhatsApp at 94940 71023.
